If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that we have only previously auctioned one example of this poster, and that was 9 years ago. The buyer of that poster had it linenbacked and has now reconsigned it to us, so this is still the only example we have ever auctioned! Also note that this poster has been trimmed and it now measures 14" x 19 1/2" [36 x 50 cm]. What IS linenbacking? Learn More Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: fair. The poster originally had a blank top that was neatly trimmed off (this is commonly done with Belgian posters, similar to how the blank top is trimmed off of U.S. window cards). The poster also had tears and tiny paper loss in an extra fold going through the center of Hayworth's face, with tears and paper loss around the edges. Someone compounded the problem by adding many tiny pieces of tape that discolored. Overall, the poster was in fair good condition prior to linenbacking. The restorer backed the poster "in the European style", meaning that they did not do restoration to the defects described above. Please bear the above in mind before bidding on this poster.
