An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded One-Sheet Movie Poster (1sh; measures 27" x 41" [69 x 104 cm]) (Learn More) Hats Off, the 1936 Boris Petroff Texas romantic press agent musical (written by Samuel Fuller; a wacky story of two Texas cities wanting to run expositions to bring visitors to their cities, and they hire publicists who are male and female to promote their separate events; naturally, they steal each other's ideas and use all kinds of unscrupulous tactics, and even more naturally, they end up falling in love!) starring Mae Clarke, John Payne, Helen Lynd, Luis Alberni, Skeets Gallagher, Franklyn Pangborn, Three Radio Rogues, and "200 Gorgeous Girls". Note that this was the very first screenplay by Sam Fuller, who was only 24! Of course, he would later become famous for tough action thrillers and war melodramas, but this movie was surprisingly a lighthearted romantic comedy! NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this poster has a stamp on the back that indicates it came from the legendary "Cozy Theater" collection! Condition: very good. There is some separation and tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some of the ends of the foldlines. There is an ink pad stamp on the back of the poster that slightly bleeds through to the front in the white background at upper right and there are a few pin holes around the edges of the poster. The poster is otherwise in pretty nice condition and its colors are still vibrant and if one chose to have it linenbacked it would look great! Learn More about condition grades
