Important Added Info: Note that this is a special unbound proof copy of this book that was sent in advance of its publication by Simon Schuster to a reporter at Time Magazine named R.Z. Sheppard. It consists of a specially made box with the book cover glued to the cover of the box and inside are unbound proof pages of the entire book, plus four black and white and one color 8x10 photos of Marilyn by Milton Greene, plus a cover letter from Simon & Schuster, and an addendum sheet from Simon & Schuster saying that "This press kit is being sent to you in lieu of galleys. Finished books will be available in late October." So obviously, this special "press kit" of the book was sent solely to the members of the press, and it is surely extremely rare, and we doubt many survive. Also note that we have pictured the front cover, the title page, and the interior page that shows the publishing information, and one or more interior 2-page spreads. Condition: very good.
