Murder, My Sweet, the classic 1944 Edward Dmytryk romantic detective mystery crime film noir ("Meet the new Dick Powell! Two fisted, hardboiled, terrific!"; "Meet this year's biggest movie surprise... Dick Powell playing a new kind of role... In a murder-mystery that packs as big a punch as the NEW Dick Powell!"; "Haunted by a lovely face... hunted for another's crime!"; "Two-Fisted, hardboiled terrific!"; adapted from the novel 'Farewell, My Lovely' by Raymond Chandler) starring Dick Powell (as Philip Marlowe), Claire Trevor (as Velma Valento), Anne Shirley (as Ann Grayle), Otto Kruger, Mike Mazurki (as Moose Malloy), Miles Mander, Douglas Walton, Don Douglas, Ernie Adams, and Dewey Robinson. The movie was intended to be released as "Farewell, My Lovely", the name of the source novel, but it was changed at the last minute.

Overall Condition and Pre-Restoration Defects with Quality of Restoration: very good. The poster had tiny paper loss at the crossfolds and some small horizontal tears between the middle foldline and the bottom foldline. There were some tiny dots of paper loss in the rest of the vertical foldline and some wear on the horizontal folds. There were some pinholes, creases, and smudges around the edges of the poster. Overall, the poster was in very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was nicely backed, and displays well!
