When a guy who can't get away with murder meets a girls who does!"; "Every scene crackles with Garfield excitement!"; loosely based on the book by Lewis E. Lawes, who was the real-life warden of Sing Sing Prison; it had earlier been made in 1932 as "20,000 Years in Sing Sing", and that was the working title for this movie until it was changed at the last minute) starring John Garfield, Ann Sheridan, Pat O'Brien, Burgess Meredith, Henry O'Neill, Jerome Cowan, Guinn 'Big Boy' Williams, John Litel, and Barbara Pepper NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. Condition: good. The cards have darkened somewhat (typical of Warner Brothers lobby cards printed on a "linen" paper during this time period.). Each has pinholes and some other small defects around the edges and most have been repaired with several pieces of conservation tape from the back.
