Flight to Fame, the 1938 Charles C. Coleman military airplane aviation science fiction (sci-fi) suspense action thriller ("Thrills without a let-up! Mystery without a clue!"; "Solving the amazing mystery of the Phantom Ray!") starring Charles Farrell, Julie Bishop (billed as "Jacqueline Wells"), Hugh Sothern, Jason Robards Sr. and Alexander D'Arcy

Condition: good to very good. The poster had a thin 1" strip of paper loss at the top crossfold, and small paper loss at the other two crossfolds. Someone put a piece of 1" wide paper tape on the back of each of the three crossfolds, which somewhat bled through to the front in all three areas. There was minor wear on the foldlines and creases, smudges, tears, and small areas of paper loss in the blank borders. Overall, the poster was in good to very good condition prior to linenbacking. The poster was pretty well backed, but the restorer did not attempt to touch up any of the three areas of tape bleed through (likely because they are not very noticeable or distracting). If one wanted to, a good restorer could touch up those areas without re-backing the poster.
