An Original Vintage Theatrical Folded Insert Movie Poster (measures 14" x 36" [36 x 91 cm]) (Learn More) Ride 'Em Cowboy, the 1942 Arthur Lubin musical cowboy western slapstick comedy starring Bud Abbott, Lou Costello (Abbott and Costello), Dick Foran, Anne Gwynne, Johnny Mack Brown, The Merry Macs, Ella Fitzgerald, The Hi-Hatters, The Buckaroo Band, Ranger Chorus of 40, Dorothy Dandridge (uncredited as a dancer!), and Iron Eyes Cody (also uncredited as a Native American Indian!) NOTE: Click on linked names to see a biography. If you know who did the art (if any), please let us know. Important Added Info: Note that this is an extremely rare poster. We have only auctioned two in all our years of auctioning! Note also that this poster was folded at one time but has been laying flat for a long time and will be sent rolled in a tube. Condition: good. The poster has a patch of discoloration in Costello's face at upper right and there is a patch at lower left as well (see our image). It has pinholes around the edges and some wear along the folds and someone backed the pinholes and the folds with clear tape, and there are some older tape stains on the back (and those older stains are still somewhat tacky). There is a small amount of writing at lower right. Despite the defects the poster is mostly in generally nice condition and after paperbacking (at which time the two stains could be removed chemically) the poster will display well (but of course bear in mind the poster's condition and the cost of restoration before bidding on it.)
