Details About These Sunday Items
IMPORTANT! This set of auctions runs for ONE week!
This set of auctions began on March 31st and it will last for
ONE week, ending on April 7th.
On most Sundays, we alternate between "miscellaneous"
auctions and rolled one-sheet auctions with each running for two weeks (so each kind of auction runs
once every month, which means
we now auction many "miscellaneous" items and rolled one-sheets soon after we receive them).

About this set of 999 "miscellaneous" items
Note that over the past two years we had regular Sunday auctions (of 400 or
so items) where we auctioned many pressbooks, magazines, sheet music, and much more. We also had
auctions every few months where we auctioned miscellaneous items of all types that DO fit in our standard sized mailers, but
are not standard sized items that we auction in our regular Tuesday and Thursday auctions (like
program books, heralds, etc).
But now we have one of these special miscellaneous auctions every single
month, and instead of
having 400 items, we can have up to 999! This set of auctions contains
LOTS of really rarely seen items that will likely
sell for WAY under retail, so you should surely check over all of the items in this set
of auctions very carefully!
About the condition of the items
Note that we give a detailed overall condition grade to every item we sell ("fine", "very good to fine", "very good", "good to very good",
and "good", with only a few graded "fair" or lesser) along with more details about the condition described in words (but pretty much
a general description of the defects, and we only describe specific defects if they are
the type that CAN'T be seen in our super-sized images, or if the item is especially valuable). We felt this would help bidders identify items they want to bid on more easily. Of course, we still strongly recommend that you look at our super-sized image to see the extent of the defects that we describe and to examine the poster for minor defects that we did NOT describe.
Of course, with the items that have many pages, we could not photograph
every single page, but we often photograph both covers and an interior
two-page spread, which should surely give you an excellent idea of the
overall condition of that item. |
Payment Options
U.S. orders with flat rate shipping can quickly be completed via Credit/Debit Card or PayPal
in our
Checkout system. For U.S. customers who purchase items that require "actual
shipping" (and for ALL Non-U.S. orders) we need to quote you the cost of shipping (a "shipping
quote") after you request it,
and you will do so (after the auctions end) through our
Checkout
system.
We have integrated most shipping quotes into our
checkout (except for Pay and Hold orders because they are more complicated, but those are coming
too) so you now can complete payment using our checkout (for both U.S. and non-U.S. orders, but
for now, only if you pay with credit card or PayPal).
Please note that we are still developing this checkout system, and we will continue to make
further improvements to it, and all aspects of our business, and we will alert you whenever we
make such improvements. If you run into any sort of problem requesting your quotes or paying for
your order after you receive your quotes, please e-mail
Phillip
right away so we can get it addressed.
If your order requires a shipping quote and you have already received your quote, you
may pay in our Checkout (unless your order is "Pay and Hold" which we are
working to account for). You should only pay via PayPal manually if you are Pay and Hold (to "mail@emovieposter.com"), but know that PayPal has
many glitches, and if you do that, you need to e-mail us separately stating that you completed
payment Learn More.
Here are
step-by-step instructions if you need help paying manually with PayPal.
We also accept all major credit cards and PayPal
in our
Checkout or, if you want to pay another way, you can pay via phone at +1 (417) 256-9616
during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM CST to 5 PM CST except from 12 to 1 when we take
lunch), via e-mail,
or via fax at +1 (417) 257-6948.
You can also send a check or money order (if you do, enclose your address and
details about what you purchased) to:
Bruce Hershenson
Attn: Payments
P.O. Box 874
West Plains, MO 65775
If it is your best payment option, you can pay by Western
Union, but please don't send cash (as we can't be responsible for lost cash).

U.S. Shipping Details
U.S. buyers need to enclose $11 shipping (which includes full
insurance), no matter how many items you purchase from this set of auctions! NOTE: Our $11 flat
rate shipping is good for three weeks. If you haven't paid within three weeks, you will then be
quoted the actual cost of shipping
when you request it.
Missouri
customers: You must pay an additional 7.162% sales tax on your
purchases. If your order is sent within the state of Missouri, we MUST
collect this tax (if it is shipped to another state, we do not collect the tax).
Will your order be
shipped to you by UPS?
UPS does NOT automatically require a signature
to deliver packages, so if you want the signature to be required, you will
need to pay the extra $3.00 UPS charges for "signature required" Delivery
Confirmation, and please realize that they will then NOT leave the
package, and you may well have to go to the UPS facility yourself to pick it
up. But if you prefer this, that is fine, and if you have any other
special requirements, please tell us when you are paying for your order.
IF YOU DO NOT SPECIFY THAT YOU WANT SIGNATURE REQUIRED, THEN YOUR PACKAGE
WILL BE SENT WITHOUT SIGNATURE REQUIRED!
You CAN usually combine shipment!
NOTE: These Sunday
items need to be sent in flat packages so...
IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT COMBINING: Flat rate shipping is good for 3 weeks worth of
purchases. If you win items over a span of more than 21 days, you will then be charged the
actual cost of shipping plus $3 for packing materials.
*they can be combined with these auctions:
Sunday March 3rd items from Part I of our March 2013 Mini/Major Auction
Tuesday March 12th folded one-sheets
Thursday March 14th lots of 1 to 340 stills from the same film
Tuesday March 19th WCs, French, Italian, etc (Note the higher $15 U.S. shipping of these
items)
Thursday March 21st folded non-U.S. posters & lobbies
Sunday March 31st "flat" bulk lots (Note: Some lots CAN be combined; we will combine
what is safe to do; also note that most are "actual" cost shipping)
*they must be sent separately from these auctions for an
additional shipping charge:
Thursday March 7th items from Part III of our March 2013 Mini/Major Auction
Tuesday March 5th linenbacked items in Part II of our March 2013 Mini/Major Auction
Sunday March 10th
"rolled" or
linenbacked items from Part IV of our March 2013 Mini/Major Auction
Sunday March 24th rolled one-sheets
Sunday March 31st "rolled" bulk lots (Note: Some lots CAN be combined; we will combine
what is safe to do; also note that most are "actual" cost shipping)
Tuesday April 2nd rolled non-U.S. posters
Thursday April 4th rolled "special" posters (travel, war, etc)
|
Note that we not only allow you to combine as many items as you want from a single
set of Tuesday, Thursday, and/or Sunday auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge for all of the items, but we also allow you to wait until
the next three weeks of auctions end (a total of up to eight sets of auctions) so that you can combine your current purchases with those of our following auctions
(if possible), and that means there
is a chance you could combine items from up to eight of our sets of auctions, and still pay only a single shipping charge (assuming those items fit into the same type of package). We KNOW there are other sellers who charge a little less on shipping than we do, but we know that our packaging is the best there is, and our orders virtually never arrive damaged (and on the very rare times that they do, all our U.S. packages are fully insured, and
FULL INSURANCE IS INCLUDED IN THE U.S. SHIPPING CHARGE).
DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS
UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE $11 U.S. SHIPPING!
|
Non-U.S. Shipping Details
Non-U.S. buyers must pay the actual cost of shipping their
order (you can choose whatever method you prefer, but know that the U.S. Post Office has
eliminated Surface Mail, so we can only send via Express or Airmail), plus $3 for the best
packaging materials you have ever seen. All non-U.S. buyers must tell us if they want the
package sent insured or uninsured at the time they pay for their order.
PLEASE KNOW THAT ALL OF THE BOOKS & AUCTION CATALOGS ARE HEAVY (some
extremely heavy!), SO BEAR THIS IN MIND BEFORE PLACING BIDS ON THEM IF YOU LIVE OUTSIDE THE
U.S.
Have you heard about our Pay and Hold
Program?
This lets non-U.S. buyers pay for their purchases from 6 consecutive weeks
(a total of 15 auctions and around 12,000+ items!), and we then send all your
purchases at once saving you LOTS of money! Click
HERE to learn more (if you are not one of the hundreds of our
non-U.S. buyers who are already part of this program).

save money on shipping by shipping to friends/family in the U.S., insurance, and customs fees.
Here is a chart containing estimated
shipping charges for up to 3 "flat" items from this set of auctions
NOTE: These are ESTIMATES only, and your actual shipping may be more or less than
these estimates.
ALSO NOTE: Insurance will increase the cost of shipping by approximately $1.60 for each
$100 of insurance. |

IMPORTANT NOTICE: Please bear these
approximate shipping cost in mind BEFORE you place a bid (if
you live outside the U.S.). The vast majority of our customers want a very
securely packed tube, and will pay the extra shipping cost involved (and of
course, it goes to the Post Office or UPS, and not us!). Please do not ask
us to pack less securely, as that would likely result in a damaged order. Some sellers are sending by Ground UPS to Canada, but that incurs large
"brokerage fees", so we do not recommend it. Note that there are also
some sellers sending non-U.S. packages via a "Letter" rate, but of course
this is not legal, and we can not do this. We have outlined the
possibilities for sending non-U.S. packages above, so please read that
carefully, BEFORE placing a bid!
DON'T BID ON OUR ITEMS UNLESS YOU WILL PAY THE ACTUAL COST OF SHIPPING (the
actual cost of shipping plus $3 outside the U.S.)!
