JAMES TAYLOR
James Taylor is an American folk-rock 'n' roll (rock and roll) singer, songwriter and musician from 1966 to the present. After suffering from severe depression and committing himself to a psychiatric hospital for nine months in his late teens, Taylor moved to New York and delved into drugs and music. He encountered further problems involving heroin, meth and another psychiatric stay before going on to release his debut album on The Beatles' Apple Records label (he was the first non-British act signed to Apple!). Some of his songs include: Carolina in My Mind, Fire and Rain, How Sweet It Is (To Be Loved by You), You've Got a Friend, and many more!
