JIM HENSON
Jim Henson was a puppeteer, director, and producer from the 1950s to the 1990s. He created The Muppets that were used in many television shows and movies including Sesame Street, Fraggle Rock, The Dark Crystal, and Labyrinth. He passed away in 1990 at the age of 53 from bacterial pneumonia. After his passing, the Muppets were sold to Walt Disney productions. In 2018, Henson's son and daughter created "The Happytime Murders", a pretty bizarre live action/Muppet movie that is R rated (starring Melissa McCarthy). They were sued by Sesame Street Productions, but the movie prevailed (and bombed at the box office)!
