MARCELLO MASTROIANNI

Marcello Mastroianni was an Italian actor from the 1930s to the 1990s and is best known for his work in Federico Fellini movies. He was FAR from an overnight success! He was born in 1924 and started acting in1939, but it was not until 1957 that he really started getting noticed, and of course in 1959 he became an international star with La Dolce Vita Some of his movies include: Divorce - Italian Style (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), 8 1/2, Pret-a-Porter, La Notte, Special Day (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Dark Eyes (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), and La Grande Bouffe. He passed away in 1996 at the age of 72.
