STEVE REEVES
Steve Reeves was a bodybuilder and actor in many Italian sword & sandal movies from the 1950s to 1960s. Between 1946 and 1950, he won many bodybuilding competitions (and his results were achieved
BEFORE steroids!), culminating with the title of Mr. Universe in 1950. He was the first of the American actors to go to Italy, when he played the starring role in Hercules in 1959, which led to hundreds of similar movies starring Reeves and many other Americans. Some of his other movies include: Duel of the Titans, Morgan the Pirate, The Last Days of Pompeii, and Hercules Unchained. He passed away in 2000 at the age of 74.
