ROSS HUNTER
Ross Hunter was an actor and producer from the 1940s to the 1970s. He started as an actor right after being released from service during World War II, but after he appeared in ten movies, he went behind the camera and became a legendary producer! Of course, Hunter is best known for his 1950s romantic melodramas. Some of his best movies include: Airport, Pillow Talk, Imitation of Life, All that Heaven Allows, and Thoroughly Modern Millie. He also had a longtime personal and professional relationship with Jacques Mapes for over 40 years. Hunter passed away in 1996 at the age of 75.
