VIVIAN BLAINE

Vivian Blaine was an actress and Broadway performer from the 1940s to the 1980s. She is surely best remembered for her role as Adelaide in "Guys and Dolls" (both the Broadway stage version and the movie adaptation). In the 1940s and 1950s, she appeared in a number of movie musicals, but also appeared in many stage plays. Blane passed away in 1995 at the age of 74.
