MICHAEL RENNIE
Michael Rennie (born Eric Alexander Rennie) was an English leading actor from the 1930s to the 1970s and is best remembered for his role as the alien "Klaatu" in the classic The Day the Earth Stood Still, but he had a long distinguished career covering many decades and many different types of movies. Interestingly, he started out as a car salesman and then a factory manager, and he didn't make his first movie until he was 26, and did not have a major success until he was 36! Some of his other movies include: Secret Agent, The Robe, Titanic, and The Desert Fox. He passed away in 1971 at the age of 61.
