INGER STEVENS

Inger Stevens was a Swedish actress from the 1950s to the 1970s. She had some notable roles in the 1960s, but never became a major star. Some of her movies include: Hang 'Em High, Madigan, A Guide for the Married Man, 5 Card Stud, and Firecreek. She was secretly married to a minor black African American actor named Ike Jones throughout the 1960s, and because revealing that would have ended her career, she kept it secret. She suffered from depression, and she attempted suicide several times, and overdosed in 1970 with pills and alcohol. She was just 35 years old.
