GIA SCALA
Gia Scala (born Josefina Grazia Scoglio) was an English-born Italian actress (who moved to New York City with her family when she was 14) from the 1950s to the 1960s. Some of her movies include: The Guns of Navarone, All that Heaven Allows, The Tunnel of Love, The Angry Hills, and Don't Go Near the Water. Her personal life was very turbulent with clinical depression, which she self medicated with drugs and alcohol. After her mother passed away and her marriage dissolved, she committed suicide. She passed away in 1972 at the age of 38.
