JUDITH ANDERSON
Judith Anderson was an Australian stage and movie actress (few people know she was Australian, not English; she was 21 when she moved from Australia to the U.S.!) from the 1930s to the 1980s. Some of her movies include: Rebecca (nominated for the Best Supporting Actress Academy Award for this film), The Ten Commandments (as Memnet), Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, and Laura. She was "awarded Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire in the 1960 Queen's New Year's Honours List for her services to the performing arts". She passed away in 1992 at the age of 94.
