CATE BLANCHETT
Cate Blanchett is an Australian actress from the 1990s to the present. She was nominated for Best Actress in a Supporting Role for Notes on a Scandal and I'm Not There (where she played one of six Bob Dylans!), nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Elizabeth and Elizabeth: The Golden Age, and won Best Actress in a Supporting Role for The Aviator (as actress Katharine Hepburn!). Some of her other memorable movies include: Blue Jasmine (winner of the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), Carol (nominated for the Best Actress Academy Award for this film), The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, as Galadriel in the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit films, the TV mini-series "Bordertown", and Babel
