PHYLLIS BROOKS
Phyllis Brooks was an actress from the 1930s to the 1950s. Although she was in a number of movies, she is likely best remembered as the "Ipana Girl" for the toothpaste magazine ads she appeared in! Some of her movies include: Charlie Chan in Reno, Charlie Chan in Honolulu, The Unseen, The Shanghai Gesture, and Dangerous Passage. She retired movies in 1945 at the age of thirty when she married her husband, Tobert H. MacDonald. She passed away in 1995 at the age of 80.
