CHARLES DURNING
Charles Durning was an actor from the 1960s to the 2000s. Some of his movies include: The Sting, Dog Day Afternoon, O Brother, Where Art Thou? (as Pappy O'Daniel), To Be Or Not To Be (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), The Best Little Whorehouse In Texas (nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), and Tootsie. Note that Mr. Durning served in World War II and was in the D-Day invasion, and was wounded that day, and received a Purple Heart! He passed away in 2012 at the age of 89.
