WILLIAM 'WILD BILL' ELLIOTT
William 'Wild Bill' Elliott was an actor from the 1920s to the 1950s and was best known for his work in B-westerns, but he appeared in some A-movies as well, including Gold Diggers of 1933, 'G' Men, Gold Diggers of 1935, Platinum Blonde, and Dangerous. He was initially billed as Gordon Elliott, but his first starring role was in "The Great Adventures of Wild Bill Hickok" from 1938, and he played Hickok in several other movies, and once he became identified with Wild Bill Hickok, he changed his stage name to Wild Bill Elliott.
