GEORGE BANCROFT

George Bancroft was a leading actor of the 1920s who seamlessly transferred to character roles in the 1930s and 1940s. Some of his movies include: Thunderbolt (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Mr. Deeds Goes to Town, The Docks of New York, Angels with Dirty Faces, and Stagecoach. He passed away in 1956 at the age of 74.
