BOB DENVER

Bob Denver was an actor from the 1950s to the 1990s. After a bit part in a 1959 movie, he was cast as Maynard G. Krebs in TV's "The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis", which made him a cult star. It went off the air in 1963, and the following year lightning struck twice when he was cast as Gilligan in TV's "Gilligan's Island", which was an even bigger hit! He passed away in 2005 at the age of 70.
