CHARLES STARRETT (personality)
Charles Starrett was an actor from the 1920s to the 1950s. He was a former college football star who started out appearing in A-movies in the 1930s, but by the mid-1930s, he was mostly appearing in B-westerns and he is best known for his work in those movies (including many appearances as The Durango Kid). Some of his movies include: Blazing Across the Pecos, The Kid from Broken Gun and Across the Badlands. He passed away in 1986 at the age of 82.
