WILLIE BEST
Willie Best was an actor from the 1930s to the 1950s, a black African American performer who unfortunately usually was forced to play porters or chauffeurs, usually shuffling, illiterate, and superstitious, thus fitting the standard Hollywood stereotypes of that time. Some of his movies include: Cabin in the Sky, High Sierra, and Dangerous Money. Sadly, he passed away in 1962 at the age of 45.
