STANLEY KRAMER

Stanley Kramer was a major director and producer from the 1940s to the 1970s. He "only" directed 15 movies in his career, but almost all of them were excellent, and he also was the producer on a number of other really fine movies including: Champion, Judgment at Nuremberg, High Noon, Inherit the Wind. Guess Who's Coming to Dinner?, and The Domino Principle. Kramer was nominated for an astounding 9 Academy Awards throughout his career, but never won! He passed away in 2001 at the age of 87.
