HERB ALPERT

Herb Alpert is a jazz band leader from the 1960s to the 2000s. He is best remembered for performing with his group Herb Alpert and The Tijuana Brass, and they had many hits, including "A Taste of Honey", "Zorba the Greek", and "Spanish Flea" (you THINK you never heard of it, but it is the song they played on "The Dating Game"!). Their biggest hit was "This Guy's In Love With You". They performed the soundtrack for several movies in the 1960s, and he co-founded A&M Records with Jerry Moss (the A&M stood for "Alpert & Moss"). As of 2021, he is still alive at the age of 85!
