WALTER MATTHAU
Walter Matthau was an actor from the 1950s to the 2000s. Like many actors, he worked for many years in films before achieving much success, but unlike most actors, he started as a character actor, and his sheer talent made him a leading man many years later! Some of his movies include: The Odd Couple, Sunshine Boys (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Kotch (nominated for the Best Actor Academy Award for this film), Fortune Cookie (winner of the Best Supporting Actor Academy Award for this film), A Face in the Crowd, Charade, Fail-Safe, and The Bad News Bears. He passed away in 2000 at the age of 79.
