MARC LAWRENCE
Marc Lawrence was a character actor of the 1930s to 1950s, who appeared in many B-movies (often as a criminal), and in a few major movies as well, including Key Largo and The Asphalt Jungle (as Cobby). He was caught up in the blacklisting and appeared before the House Un-American Activities Committee, where he named names (it was also revealed that he had had a mental breakdown and been hospitalized just before giving his testimony). An interesting footnote is that his daughter, Toni Lawrence, was once married to Billy Bob Thornton! Marc passed away in 2005 at the age of 95.
