Branford Marsalis is a black African American professional jazz musician (and son of legend Ellis Marsalis) and who, for three years, was the original bandleader for "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno". He has also appeared in movies which include: Throw Momma From The Train, Mo' Better Blues, and Eve's Bayou
