SIDNEY FOX
Sidney Fox was an actress in the 1930s. Some of her movies include: The Mouthpiece, Strictly Dishonorable, Murders in the Rue Morgue, The Bad Sister, and Midnight. Note that her story is one of the forgotten tragedies of Hollywood. Though she was only 4'11", she became a star on Broadway at 22, and was signed by Universal two years later. Over a three year period, she made some memorable movies, but she had a very bad marriage, and quit movies at age 27. Just eight years later, she committed suicide in 1942 the at age of 34. She is completely forgotten today, except by film buffs.
