POLA NEGRI
Pola Negri was a Polish actress from the 1910s to the 1960s. She had been a major star in the 1920s, but when her career began winding down in the late 1930s, she went to Europe and made five movies (including the memorable "Mazurka", which was a remake of "Millie", which was later remade as "Confession") before basically retiring. Some of her other movies include: Barbed Wire, The Love Goddesses, Shadows of Paris, Bella Donna, and Hi Diddle Diddle. She passed away in 1987 at the age of 90.
