ROBERT TOWNE

Robert Towne was a writer, director and producer from the 1960s to the 2020s. Some of his movie include: Chinatown, The Last Detail and Mission Impossible. Towne won the Best Original Screenplay Academy Award (Oscar) for Chinatown, and the screenplay has become legendary among critics and filmmakers. Towne passed away in 2024 at the age of 89
