RAINER WERNER FASSBINDER
Rainer Werner Fassbinder was a German writer and director from the 1960s to the 1980s. He was highly controversial, and was openly homosexual but also accused of being homophobic! Some of his films include: Querelle, Lili Marleen, and The Marriage of Maria Braun. He passed away in 1982 by suicide (cocaine drug overdose) at the age of 37.
