JOHN CLYMER

John Clymer was a painter and illustrator from the 1930s to the 1980s. He was an illustrator for many Canadian and U.S. magazines, including The Saturday Evening Post, Field and Stream, and Argosy. He served in the Marine Corps during which time he illustrated for Leatherneck Magazine and the Marine Corps Gazette. He was best known for his nature works featuring the American West. He passed away in 1989 at the age of 82
