GEORGE GERSHWIN
George Gershwin was a pianist and composer from the 1910s to the 1930s. He is best known for his compositions which were used in film and television. Some of his works include: Rhapsody In Blue, An American In Paris, and Porgy and Bess. Tragically, he passed away in 1937 at the age of 38 from a brain tumor, and the world was robbed of what would have surely been many years of wonderful additional composing.
