VALENTINE DAVIES
Valentine Loewi Davies was a film and television writer, producer, and director from the 1940s to the 1960s. He is best remembered for his 1947 book Miracle on 34th Street, for which he won the 1947 Academy Award for Best Story. He also was nominated for the 1954 Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for The Glenn Miller Story. Some of his other movies include: Chicken Every Sunday, It Happens Every Spring, The Bridges at Toko-Ri, and The Benny Goodman Story
