CY HUNGERFORD

Cyrus "Cy" Hungerford was an editorial cartoonist from 1927 to 1977. He produced daily cartoons for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, as well as a cartoon version of Pittsburgh's Pa Pitt (a character used to personify the city). During World War II (WWII) he created home front and defense posters. He passed away in 1983 at the age of 93.
