MARILYN MILLS
Marilyn Mills was a Dutch actress who was a skilled equestrienne, which led her to starring roles in cowboy movies, starting in 1922, when she was just 19. She would appear in 14 movies over the next 5 years, all westerns, with her "wonder horses Star and Beverly". Several of the movies were with Dick Hattan, and a few included young unbilled Gary Cooper, who also got roles in cowboy movies thanks to his growing up on a ranch! She retired from acting in 1927 at age 23, and sadly, she passed away in 1956 at the age of just 52.
