OTTO PREMINGER

Otto Preminger was a prominent, talented Ukrainian director from the 1930s through the 1980s. Some of his films include: Laura (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), Anatomy of a Murder, Advise and Consent, Porgy and Bess, The Man with the Golden Arm, Where the Sidewalk Ends, The Cardinal (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award for this film), In Harm's Way, and Angel Face. He passed away in 1986 at the age of 80. Note that several of Preminger's movie title sequences and posters were designed by Saul Bass!
