JACQUES HAIK

Jacques Haik was a Jewish man born in French-controlled Tunisia in 1893, and he moved to Paris around 1930 and built up a chain of theaters, and in 1931, made his own production company, Les Etablissements Jacques Haik, which produced French movies in the early 1930s. He made the anti-Nazi "My Crimes After Mein Kampf", and when the Germans invaded France, he left France and supported the Free French. After the war, he returned to France and film production, and he passed away in 1950, at the age of 57.
