ANITA LOOS
Anita Loos was a very successful screenwriter and author from the 1910s to the 1980s. She is best known for her 1925 novel, Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (which was turned into more than one movie, including the most famous version with Marilyn Monroe), as well as her 1951 Broadway adaptation of Colette's novella Gigi. Loos passed away in 1981 at the age of 93.
