LEE DUNCAN

Lee Duncan was a former soldier and dog trainer from the 1910s to the 1950s. He is best known for finding and rescuing a German Shepherd he named Rin Tin Tin, later training him to perform a variety of stunts, and putting him in the movies. He also bred the dog, and several of Rin Tin Tin's offspring were in films and movies! Duncan passed away in 1960 at the age of 67.
