BOB MONTGOMERY

Bob Montgomery was a black African American lightweight professional boxer from the 1930s to the 1950s. He took the New York State Athletic Commission (NYSAC) World Lightweight Championship in May 1943, and had 75 wins in his career, including 37 knockouts! Montgomery passed away in 1998 at the age of 79.
