OLGA TSCHECHOWA

Olga Tschechowa was a Russian-born (in what is now Armenia) actress from the 1910s to the 1940s. She left Russia during the 1917 revolution, settling in Berlin. She dated several Nazi officials in the 1930s, and was even a personal friend of Adolf Hitler, though eventually she was investigated by both the SS and Soviet agents during World War II (WWII). Some of her movies include: Moulin Rouge, Mary (in the title role), and Melusine. Olga passed away in 1980 at the age of 82.
