LIBBY HOLMAN
Libby Holman was a Broadway actress and torch singer from the 1920s to the 1930s. She led an unusual life! She was married to Zach Reynolds, son of the founder and namesake of the R.J. Reynolds tobacco company, but he died under unusual circumstances, leaving her a rich widow. She also had an affair with actor Phillips Holmes, but that was certainly complicated, and when they broke up, she immediately married his brother! Oddly, years later, Holman would have another very complicated affair with Montgomery Clift, and also had at least two lesbian relationships. She passed away in 1971 at the age of 67.
