GEORGE EASTMAN
George Eastman was an entrepreneur who founded the Eastman Kodak company in 1888 with Henry A. Strong. He also patented the first film in roll form that was practical, which was the basis for the invention of motion picture film stock. Later in life Eastman was a philanthropist, responsible for establishing schools of music, dentistry, as well as donating to Tuskegee University! Eastman passed away in 1932 at the age of 77.
