LEE 'LASSES' WHITE
Lee 'Lasses' White was a character screen actor from the 1930s to his passing in 1949. He participated in minstrel shows during the early part of the 1900s, during which time he earned his nickname of "Lasses" (short for molasses). After spending time on radio, he entered the film industry in the late 1930s, and appeared in over 70 films (often portraying characters named Lasses White). Some of his movies include: Song of the Range, Six-Gun Serenade, and Rainbow over the Rockies. He passed away in 1949 at the age of 61.
