HENRI ROYER

Henri Royer was a French painter and illustrator from the 1890s to the 1930s. He is best known for his genre works from Brittany, focusing on portraits of residents (he even learned to speak Breton so he could get closer to his subjects!). Royer passed away in 1938 at the age of 69.
